All white during winter? Indeed. The old fashion rule of not wearing white before Memorial Day weekend is no longer valid. White is appropriate at any time of the year now, thanks to the fashion Gods who finally realized this neutral color’s capacity.

An all white look in the winter can be accomplished by obviously pairing two white items together, but it’s important to do it the right way. Here, I paired a white sweater with white denim. If you don’t like yourself in white jeans, then think about wearing a longer length sweater or blouse that covers the derriere (which if you don’t know that term, it means your butt). Then pair your all white outfit with winter accessories, such as winter boots, a scarf and a jacket. You can even accessorize your jacket as a pop of color to the overall white.

Tip: Another way of going for a partial all white is paring white jeans with a creme blouse and a long creme or nude cardigan with nude pumps and a tan, cognac color belt- and a course- a purse that is the same cognac color as the belt.

The sweater I have on is by Michael Stars and the white Joe’s Jeans I’m wearing are amazing, because they are SPILL PROOF! That’s right ladies, set your worries aside when wearing these white skinny jeans, your glass of red wine can’t ruin these bad boys! I paired the outfit with a plaid blanket scarf by ASOS and my favorite winter boot, the Bailey Buttoned Triple by UGG Australia. I chose the tan Ugg boots because they complement the plaid scarf, and so does the cranberry handbag from Aldo.  The navy wool ruffled trench is from Express, which also complements a different color, navy, in the design of the plaid scarf. Plus, navy just happens to look really great with tan and white, the classic sailing colors- but in reality- really any color can be paired with white.

Hope everyone who has had to endure the blizzard Juno is safe and warm! Until next time.

Always be kind,

Erica
