Nothing is more hot right now than fringe. It was a huge part of many SS15 runway shows, and the beauty of it is that it can be incorporated into your wardrobe at your own comfort level. By that, I mean adding a pair of shoes or a purse with fringe, instead of a whole dress, top or skirt. Remember, dressing to your comfort level is key, but we can always push that level a notch or two and still maintain our confidence.

I chose this 1.State faux leather fringe skirt because I saw many potential looks in my head, not just for spring, but also for the fall and winter seasons. Note: Fringe isn’t fading anytime soon, and I won’t buy an item unless I can visualize at least three different ways to style it- unless I just simply have to have it.

This casual chic look with the two button down shirts was right up my alley. Layering is always key, at least for me. I chose the gray Bella Dahl and white RD Style button down because of the skirt’s material and color. However, a denim jacket would be nice too, or even a denim button down shirt with a cropped vest or layered over a white tee.

Think about what piece of clothing or accessory you would get the most wear out of and jump on the fringe trend too! Until next time.

Always be kind,

Erica
