Blue and white have never been so hot together before SS15 (Spring/Summer 2015). I went with a Mediterranean vibe for this look, because when I see a dark vivid blue, such as zaffre blue against white, I think of Greece. Tan accessories complement these two colors very well; however, this poppy orange purse by Linea Pelle added a little extra pop, which spices things up. To top this look off, I tied in a Michael Stars fedora to match the Soft Joie blue sweater, and then the French Connection mules to match the tan cognac belt.

Tying in colors and matching key items is crucial in pulling off a successful look. It’s important to understand complementary colors and what shades can be combined to create an iconic outfit. Looking up color wheels on Google and “Pairing Colors” on Pinterest will help you grasp a better understanding for what works and what doesn’t when creating great color combinations. Hope this helps! Until next time.

Always be kind,

Erica
