Fall is around the corner with the first day of autumn officially kicking off on September 23rd, which means more transitioning outfits will be needed with the mixed temps. So I’m sharing some tips to help you smoothly transition into fall.
It’s hard to dress for fall when day temps will still be near 80, yet 50’s at night. Some great transitional items are sleeveless sweaters to wear with jeans and dress pants; long cardigans to wear with shorts and moto boots or just a regular bootie; suede tops or pants; fedoras and boots with dresses. Adding in materials with more weight and fall colors will help the transition, and prove that you acknowledge it is the beginning of fall season.
This look is a high neck sleeveless sweater top by Somedays Lovin’ paired with Paige Denim patchwork jeans. It’s an overall casual look spiced up with a fringed purse by Urban Originals. This look represents the perfect way to incorporate a trendy piece into your regular wardrobe. I tend to buy a few things trendy here or there that I can easily pair with my staple pieces.
A few hot items for this fall to think about investing in are over-the-knee boots, a midi skirt, culottes worn with knee-high boots, chunky cropped sweaters worn with baggy high-waisted pants, fringe, suede, rich fabrics and much much more. I will be posting more tips soon! Until next time.
Always be kind,
Erica
