Sport Mixed Blues for Fall

Fall trend alert: Mixed Shades of Blue.

The color blue is definitely a hot commodity for this fall’s 2016 season. Mixing different shades is essential, and pairing with accent colors is key. I love this contemporary look of sporty meets prep, pairing things in a not so traditional way is the turnkey for creating interesting outfits.

I love the baby blue Scotch and Soda shirt tied over this BB Dakota shirt dress, and the navy Sanctuary bomber tops it off perfectly. It’s really all about creating another layer–layers are huge–when dressing yourself always think about how you could add in another complementary layer or one that pops.

I paired this look with some Jaggar sneakers to go for a more casual appeal. Adding a baby blue or a light khaki Ralph Lauren baseball cap (or your favorite sports team, as long as it’s in the same color scheme) would make this look killer! But for now, the messy bun will do. I’m guilty for not caring as much about how my hair looks, almost always choosing convenience over effort, especially on the early morning workdays. I know you know what I’m talking about 🙂
