We all know that winter is really just upon us, and nothing makes you feel better prepared than keeping your sweaters fresh at hand. Want to know some tricks to keeping the appearance of your sweaters in top shape? My top two tips include using a razor to trim off that dreadful sweater pilling (you know the little balls that pile up which make it look worn); and two, is making sure you fold your sweaters down, especially the heavy ones. Leaving them on the hangers will ruin their shape and create the awful nipples on the shoulders. If you must hang your sweaters, then I suggest investing in some quality hangers that have a rubber grip or a foam material for the sweater to hug.
Regardless of what conditions our sweaters are in, we all enjoy a little updating to the wardrobe. I’ve been searching myself for some new additions and here are my top six favorite sweaters under $100.
There is nothing I adore more than a pop of color with an all grey look. This Equipment sweater that I’m wearing in my pictures is the ultimate, especially with the low scooped back (it’s a shame it’s not under $100). However, when you purchase from the Equipment brand, you purchase quality, and will not be disappointed in your investment and usage over time.
I paired the sweater with grey Frame denim, a white Elliot Lauren blouse and a grey Tribal coat. Owning grey jeans and a jacket is a must for me. You can create some really great color blocking looks with the color grey because it can complement so many colors. It’s a neutral shade that enhances your wardrobe’s options, so take a look at your wardrobe and see if you need some grey staple pieces.
Until next time, always be kind.
