I’m always in search of a nice light weight jacket that is perfect for spring mornings and the summer night breeze. And ladies–I have to say–its all about the perfect bomber this season. Designers and creative directors completely gave bomber jackets a new meaning with breathable material. Making them so versatile for spring and summer it’s hard to just buy one!
My favorite by far is this Johnny Was Lucy Crepe de Chine Bomber, because we all know that embroidery has taken over the fashion world 🙂 and it’s a beautiful thing! The intricate details of color add much more admiration to the everyday look. Personally, I believe an embroidered anything can add a spark of life to any outfit. What I love most about this Johnny Was bomber is the versatility. It can help to downplay a dressy look or upgrade a casual one to “chic” status.
Here, I paired the bomber with this Jack by BB Dakota black and white striped dress to kind-of just add more interest–to be honest. Having the different colors from the embroidery to work with allowed the navy blue cross body purse by GiGi New York to be paired with ease.
Hope you love this bomber as much as I do! I was torn between the black and the military green option. Below the pictures you can shop the look. I have linked the black one with VC Boutique and the military green one with Neiman Marcus. Enjoy!
Until next time.
Always be kind,
Erica xx
