Digging a little Mr. T chic.
This look is for the neutral mood, yet still sassy. It’s all about the gold and the spikes. Some might think this is too much gold, but really it all depends on who is wearing the outfit and how confident you feel in it. The gold spikes on the sweater (Express) is my favorite part, and of course my Mr. T-over-the-top gold chain necklace from VC Boutique. The gold Golden Stella waved bangles are also from VC Boutique. The black purse is from Aldo, which it too has spikes to complement the sweater. In this outfit, the two shades of olive green are accented with the black accessories (shoes and purse), and a black collared layering shirt-tail blouse. (Shirt-tail is another term for high-low in regards to the back of the blouse being longer than the front.) Shirt-tail blouses are my favorite, because they cover your behind when wearing tight pants! The olive-gray skinny cargo pants are also from Express, and the black pumps are INC and were purchased at Macy’s.
This look can easily be a day into night outfit, worn with flats or a lower heeled pump to carry you through the day, and then switch your gears to the high heels for night. Remember to always feel confident in what you’re wearing, it wears more than the outfit!
