Playful dressing is a style that combines elegance with sexiness, nothing is too over shown or extravagant. These looks keep sex appeal to a minimum, yet the flirty appeal is interpreted by others as confidently sophisticated. A playful attire combines the expected with the unexpected and makes use out of rich materials such as sheer lace to showcase a level of provocativeness.
For example, a woman in a black velvet suit with a sheer lace top on underneath the suit jacket with no bra, or a leather pencil skirt with a long sleeve sheer top, showcasing a black lace bra underneath. These are just a couple of dressy examples for a night out, but playful dressing during the day can be a little trickier.
The trick is this, you never want to show too much leg or chest at once, and ESPECIALLY, not at the same time. Ladies, I recommend (if you are smaller chested, like me) to invest in one of these Eberjey bralettes. This item is ideal for adding a touch of playfulness to your attire. It’s just enough peekaboo that translates to others as self confidence.
The bralette can be worn how I am wearing it here in these pics, or it can be paired with even higher waisted pants/skirt or even high waisted jeans, worn with a bomber, utility or suit jacket to add coverage. (Whatever you do, do not go without something over your shoulders, it’s too much.) Add multiple layers of jewelry to cover up the neck area or opt for a neck tie.
The same principle applies to a casual look as well, which is never to bare too much of one area. What if you’re big chested? I suggest to opt for a keyhole top or a cut out neckline across the chest to add more playful sex appeal. If you like to show off your breasts, I suggest you don’t show more than a half inch to at most an inch of your cleavage, anything passed that just gets stereotyped.
