Black Friday used to be a day of hell for me when I worked retail back in the day. Now? It’s essentially a day that I look forward to sitting behind the computer shopping for myself. Yes, I agree, that sounds quite selfish, but it’s true. And I don’t feel like I am alone here- it’s a smart move to save.
However, some stores will decide to be stingy and go for an all-out “b*tch move” by only offering discounts “in-store”. In a world where everything is mobile and easily accessible online– that’s a bad move. Not everyone wants to fight the massive crowds. Plus, most everyone is off on this glorious day and retailers should recognize that and throw in the towel for Cyber Monday.
The sales that excite me the most and sites that I will be spending most of my time on are the following:
Topshop – up to 50% off. Sale items are already selected, but there is a lot of cute stuff- like a lot.
ASOS – 30% off everything
French Connection – 40% off purchase
Intermix – 40% off selected full price styles (tons of amazing options here, but on the more expensive side)
J.Crew – 40% off purchase
Banana Republic – 50% off purchase
Joe’s Jeans – 30% off purchase
DVF – 20% off (excludes new arrivals)
Journelle (high-end lingerie) – 15% off $150, 20% off $250 and 25% off $350
Madewell – 25% off everything
Equipment – 25% off site wide (great time to invest in a nice silk blouse)
