There’s no doubt a plaid shirt has been a staple fall item for many. There are endless ways to wear it as a layering piece under jackets and sweaters or tied around the waist over a slip dress, leggings or a mini skirt to add that 90’s grunge feel—but this year is different. Designers and retailers have taken the plaid print to the next level with trousers, shoes, tights, topper coats, blazers, midi skirts and more.
