About two weeks ago I visited Vegas for a Mariah Carey show (she’s my fav, if you didn’t already know that) and I was in pure heaven listening to her deliver her lyrics to me better than the actual CDs (I think I may have just stated my age). For two hours I was mind blown by her talent and thanks to my best friend, Torrence, we sat only three rows back from the stage. Nothing compares to the memory of her pointing out to Torrence and I, stopping mid-vocals during “Vision of Love”, to compliment his shirt, “I like your shirt,” she said. Needless to say we were swooning, and I screamed like a little girl while almost dropping my phone. It was one of the best days of my life.
Needless to say, the next day was a bit of a struggle. After a long day of travel, concert screaming and a night out at Hakassan, all in the same day, I was dead. However, my best friend, Holli, and I woke up and felt like we needed a break from the MGM and went to Caesars Palace. We struggled through lunch, but managed to “perk up” for some shopping, and it ended up being pretty successful. I fell in love with most everything at DVF–but this blazer–was one that I had to have.
The color combinations in this Roslyn Soft Printed Blazer by DVF are solid, eye-catching to the max. And the pattern details told me, ‘I had to have this.’ I adore the polka-dot pattern outlining the sides of the lapels on the front of the jacket. There is something that pops when royal blue, kelly-green and white are paired together–a classic combination at its best. This blazer can be dressed up or down and the light weight material makes it even more versatile. Hope you’re swooning just like I did 🙂
Until next time, always be kind.
